Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Continued)

I have finally finished reading the second book in the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling.

Out of all the Harry Potter books, The Chamber of Secrets is one of my favourites because of how the author tells the strory. By reading the first chapter to the last, the strory captivates you into reading more untiul it comes to the fact where you can't put the book down until you have finished reading it.

Here is an extract from the book:

"October arrived, spreading a damp chill over the grounds and into the castle. Madam Pomfrey, the nurse, was kept busy by a sudden spate of colds among the staff and students. Her Pepperup potion worked instantly, though it left the drinker smoking at the ears for several hours afterward. Ginny Weasley, who had been looking pale, was bullied into taking some by Percy. The steam pouring from under her vivid hair gave the impression that her whole head was on fire."

Now that I have finished reading this book, i recommend this book to readers aged 8 and onwards, especially to those who like stories with the theme of fantasy.
I give this story a 5 STAR rating for my final rating :)

Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets

This novel by J.K. Rowling may be 'old' as some would say, and most of you may have read it, but it is LEGENDARY! This is my first time reading the Harry Potter books as I am mostly keen on watching them rather than reading the novels but J.K. Rowling has a way of writing stories which makes them engaging to read. The Chamber of Secrets is better than 'The Philosophers Stone' in my opinion and in terms of the written story, but I heard that the stories get better as the books progress.

In this book, Harry faces a new year at hogwarts but he doesn't know what's in store for him. Gladly to be away from his 'muggle' aunt and uncle, and their hideous son, Harry is purposely being driven away from getting to Hogwarts by a house elf named Dobby. Harry doesn't understand why but the story slowy reveals itself.
- "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware!"
Harry, Hermione, and Ron are now experiencing a new adventure as they discover about the mysterious Chamber of Secrets. With the heir of Salazar Slytherin on the loose and not knowing who it may be, Harry and his friends set off on another adventure to find out what lies within the chamber, and to conquer the evil within...

I would give this book a FOUR star rating as J.K. Rowling definitely engages the reader with her use of descriptive language. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the theme of adventure and fantasy and MAGIC, even if it may be your second, third, fourth, or even FIFTH time, the story of Harry Potter will NEVER be forgotten!
